where is mesopotamia located & religion

Mesopotamia is a place located in between Tigris and Euphrates river, that is where modern-day Iraq is at. Mesopotamian people have a very cool religion. The people didn't only have one religion, they had a ton of them, instead they believed in a very large pantheon of Gods. They believed that the gods had horns and magical powers that would one day save them or keep them together. In each town the people would think that 1 god would bellow upon their town. So each town would have its own god.
